Conventional Fertilisers

We carry a full range of conventional fertilisers sourced from New Zealand and overseas.

Nitrogen
Sulphate of Ammonia

Granular Sulphate of Ammonia (or Ammonium Sulphate) provides readily available sulphur, as well as the crucial plant nutrient, nitrogen. The sulphur content in Sulphate of Ammonia is suitable in the treatment of short-term sulphur deficiencies.

N Smart Controlled Release Nitrogen

The polymer coating allows NSmart to be applied in any weather and it can be mixed with other dry fertilisers enabling it to be applied as part of the farms overall fertiliser programme. One application of NSmart provides nitrogen for continuous plant growth over 3-4 months.

DAP

DAP (di-ammonium phosphate) is probably the world’s most commonly used ammonium-phosphate fertiliser.A cost-effective product, DAP provides readily available nitrogen (18%) and phosphate (20%) for field crops and pastureland .DAP can also be used as an alternate source of phosphate if sulphur is not required by the soil.

CAN

Calcium Ammonium Nitrate (CAN) is a granular fertiliser characterised by its high efficiency. It contains two forms of nitrogen, both the fast acting nitrate-nitrogen and the longer lasting ammonium-nitrogen, to provide a  continuous supply of nutrients.

Phosphate
Triple Super Phosphate

Triple S Phosphate is a highly concentrated, water-soluble phosphate fertiliser. The quick-acting Triple S is suitable for crops with a high phosphate requirement and where there is adequate sulphur already present in the soil.

Potassium
Sulphate of Potash

Sulphate of Potash (or Potassium Sulphate) supplies two key plant nutrients – potassium and sulphur. Sulphate of Potassium has a low chloride content, making it ideal for use on chloride-sensitive crops.

Sulphur
Elemental Sulphur Prills

Elemental Sulphur contains 90% pure elemental sulphur as fine particles (68% less than 100micron), which have
been encapsulated in bentonite clay.  Releases 100% of its sulphur content over 12-months at a sustained rate.

Super S

The latest in Elemental Sulphur Technology Super S, 11-0-0-75 uses proprietary Shell Thiogro technology to produce a unique fertiliser in which micronised elemental sulphur is evenly dispersed through a urea matrix in each granule. This unique formulation offers a plant-available sulphur formulation that is able to meet the crops immediate and season-long needs, whilst also providing a valuable source of nitrogen.
